Support Settings Change your Username


Your username is part of your Comcast online identity. If you want to change a primary or secondary username, be sure you don't need the old username anymore.

Note: When you change your username, the old username can’t be used again.

To change your username:

  1. Sign in to My Account.
  2. Click Users & Preferences.
  3. If you are the primary user, click on the tab for the user you want to change.
  4. In the top left of the Basic Settings window, click Change username.
  5. Enter the password for the username that is being changed, followed by the new username. Click Save username.
    A screen to change a username is displayed with current and new username fields.
  6. A confirmation screen displays. Select I’m done to exit.
    A screen confirming the updated username is displayed.
