Support Billing Change or Stop Your Automatic Payments Online

Introduction

When you set up automatic online payments for your Comcast bill, you always have the option of changing or stopping them. Find out how.

Before you get started, remember only users with permission to view or pay bills can make, change or stop payments online.

Stop your automatic payments:

  1. Sign in to My Account.
  2. Click Billing & Payments.
  3. Select the Manage automatic payments link.
  4. In the new window, click Stop my automatic payment.
  5. To confirm, click Yes, stop my payments.
  6. Click I'm done to finish.
Change the payment method for your automatic bill pay:

Note: When you change your payment method for our automatic bill payment services, we have to stop the old payment method and start a new process for your the new payment method. In select markets, you can enroll in automatic payments with your new payment method up to midnight the night before your payment is due, and the payment the next day will be processed using your recurring payment method as per usual. In other markets, however, your payments will not start again until your application is processed, which can take up to 45 days to approve. You will see on-screen messaging about this waiting period – if it applies – when you confirm your new payment method in My Account.
  1. Sign in to My Account.
  2. Click Billing & Payments.
  3. Select the Manage automatic payments link.
  4. Click Change payment info.
  5. Choose your payment method and enter the required information. Click Continue.
  6. Read the Terms of Service, check the box to accept, and click Continue.
  7. Review your payment information and click Confirm new settings.
  8. A confirmation will appear so you know the payment was processed. Note any processing time for the payment.
  9. Depending on your selections, you may have further options on the page. You can also print the page for your records.
  10. To finish, click I'm done.
