Support XFINITY TV X1: Accessories Store App - Using the Accessories Store App


If you are a customer with XFINITY on the X1 Entertainment Operating System, you can use the Accessories Store app to do the following:

  • Browse accessories that can be purchased on
  • Browse downloadable XFINITY mobile apps
  • Email or text yourself product description URLs

Accessing the App

  1. From the Apps menu, select the Accessories Store icon.
    Accesories store tab is in the middle between voicemail and home.  The next row is entitled Entertainment & Media and include choices of photos, Pandora or Facebook.
  2. Select the accessory for which you would like to view more details. Accessories are organized into different categories based on XFINITY services (e.g., XFINITY Internet, XFINITY TV, etc.)
    Featured accessories display, including a remote control, an XFINITY Home Wi-Fi range extender, a modem, and a wireless gateway.
  3. Choose the method via which you would like to have the related Comcast Accessories Store link sent to you. The options are located on the bottom of the accessory’s description page.
  4. Use the remote's left arrow button or right arrow button to choose an option. Then press OK to select the option.
    Choose from Scan QR Code, Text URL, Email URL to have the URL of the Accessories Store item sent to you.

Send Link Via Email

  1. Select Email URL and press OK on the remote.
  2. Use your remote control to enter your email address. Your preferred email address will auto-populate the field if you have one set in My Account, though you may change it as needed.
  3. Use the remote's arrow buttons to highlight Done and press OK.
     Use the arrow keys on the remote to highlight the first letter of your email address, and press OK.  Repeat until your email address is fully spelled out. Then arrow down to highlight Done and press OK.
  4. A confirmation message will appear on the screen.
    Message reads: An email has been sent to [email address displays] with a link to the XFINITY Accessories Store. Thank you for your interest.
  5. An email containing the link to the product you requested will be sent to the email address you selected.
    The email reads: Thank you for your interest in the Accessories store.  Here is the link to the product you requested.  [URL displays].  Enjoy!

Send Link Via Text Message

  1. Select Text URL and press OK on the remote.
  2. Use your remote control to enter your mobile number.
  3. Use the arrow keys on the remote to highlight Send and press OK.
    The phone number entered displays in the center of the screen.  Send and Clear links are located below the phone number.
  4. Agree to the terms before sending the link via text message.
    Terms agreement reads: One more thing before you're done.  By clicking the Send button, I consent to receive this text message related to the Accessory Store App and the mobile number I provided.  I understand the messages are being sent using automated technology, and that I am not required to provide this consent as a condition to purchase any goods or services, Send and Cancel options below.
  5. A confirmation screen will be displayed when the text message is successfully sent.
    Confirmation message reads: A text has been sent to [phone number displays] with a link to the XFINITY Accessories Store.  Thank you for your interest.


You may also choose to download the content, if applicable.

  1. Use the arrow buttons on the remote to highlight Download within the Accessories app menu. Press OK.
    In the Accessory Store apps menu, the Download option is selected and XFINITY Mobile Apps display.
  2. Here, you can learn more about our mobile apps and be directed to the Apple Store or Google Play to download them directly to your device.
    On the App Info page, details about the XFINITY TV Go Mobile app are displayed. The Text URL option is highlighted; the other option is Email URL.
