Support XFINITY TV X1: Cancel a Series Recording for a Series Not Currently Airing

Introduction

If you have scheduled a series recording that has upcoming episodes airing soon, you can quickly cancel the series recording using the Scheduled option in the Saved menu of the XFINITY on the X1 Entertainment Operating System On-Screen Guide. For details, please see X1: Cancel a Series Recording.

However, if your series does not have upcoming episodes airing soon, you can still cancel the series recording using Series Priority. Here’s how.

Cancel a Series Recording Using Series Priority

  1. Press the xfinity button on the remote to access the main menu.
  2. Use the left arrow or right arrow button on the remote to navigate to Saved. Press the OK button.

  3. Highlight Scheduled and press OK.

  4. Highlight Series Priority and press OK.

  5. Use the down arrow button to navigate to the series recording you wish to cancel. Press the Info button.
    The scheduled recordings in Series Priority are displayed in a list.
     
  6. Use the right arrow button to navigate to Cancel. Press the OK button.

  7. A confirmation message appears with the Cancel Recording option selected by default. Press the OK button to cancel your recording.

  8. Press the Exit button when finished.
    Confirmation message says "Recording Canceled."
