Installing a Lighting/Appliance Controller

  1. On the side of the Controller, hold down the on/off button while you plug the Controller into an electrical outlet. If the outlet is controlled by a light switch, make sure the switch is on. Continue holding the button in until the green LED lights up.

Did You Know? The outlet on the front of the Controller is always on and isn't controlled by your XFINITY Home system. It functions as a traditional outlet. The outlet on the bottom of the Controller is where you will plug in the light or appliance that you want your system to control.
