The control panel and the Touch Screen work together to keep you connected.
The control panel provides the:

- Connection for your service to work.
- Broadband connection.
- Connection to the monitoring station. (When necessary, the Central Monitoring Station will dispatch emergency services.)
- Is a convenient device that helps manage each element of your XFINITY Home with simple touch navigation and easy-to-follow prompts.
- Provides most of the daily management.
