Introduction

XFINITY Home puts you in control.

You can view the past activity of your home security system via the XFINITY Home Web Portal or the Touch Screen.

If you do not have a Touch Screen, see the Help & Support documentation for XFINITY Home - Control.

Note: This FAQ is for all XFINITY Home - Secure customers. However, if you live in the Houston, Texas, area and you purchased XFINITY Home prior to November 16, 2011, please see XFINITY Home for customers in the Houston, Texas area installed before November 16, 2011.

From the XFINITY Home Web Portal

We are redesigning our XFINITY Home Web Portal for XFINITY Home - Secure customers. As of on June 3, 2015, there will be the option to preview the new XFINITY Home Web Portal. Please see the instructions below and select the view that you are using, either the Current View or the Preview version.

Current View: From the Home screen, click the History tab to view recent activity by:

  • All History
  • Alarms
  • Arms/Disarms
  • Trouble Events
  • Zone Activity
  • Last 24 Hours

Preview Version: From the Home screen, click the Activity tab to view the past 30 days of XFINITY Home activity:

Activity history can be filtered by date or by type of activity. Type of activity filters include the following:
  • All Activity
  • Alarms
  • Alerts
  • Arms and Disarms
  • Sensors and Zones
  • Door Locks
  • Cameras

From the Touch Screen

  1. Press the Security widget on the Home page.
  2. Press the History tab on the Security page.
