Support XFINITY Home XFINITY Home - Secure: What to Do if You Need a User Permit

Introduction

Learn what to do if you need a user permit or alarm registration for your XFINITY Home - Secure system.

Most municipalities require an alarm registration or user permit for a home security system. You’ll need to check with your municipality to see if this applies to you and to get answers to any questions you may have. If you fail to obtain a required permit, your municipality could delay police response, refuse to send emergency personnel and assess fines.

Please contact your local municipality with any questions regarding alarm registration and user permits.
