Support XFINITY Internet Once enrolled in the Flexible-Data Option, how do I opt out?


This information only applies to Economy Plus customers in Huntsville and Mobile, Alabama; Fresno, California; Atlanta, Augusta and Savannah, Georgia; Central Kentucky; Maine; Jackson, Mississippi; Knoxville and Memphis, Tennessee; and Charleston, South Carolina who choose to participate in the Flexible-Data Option.

Note: This information does not apply to customers in Nashville, Tennessee or Tucson, Arizona.

To opt out of the Flexible-Data Option, Economy Plus customers can log into the Usage Meter Details page as the primary or self-managed secondary account holder. Once logged in:

  1. Click on the Edit Enroll link
  2. Click on Opt out to the Flexible-Data Option
  3. Click Save
The Flexible-Data Option will be removed from your account the month after the request is made and you will once again be enrolled in the 300 GB monthly data plan.

Note: Customers in Fresno, California can call Customer Security Assurance at 1-877-807-6581 to enroll or opt out of the program.
